It's been restored. The Archaeology pieces that are present are neat. The mosaic tile work is very abundant in the home. Photos downstairs only. Their is a number of Ivory pieces present. Including Jesus on the cross. A must see. Enjoy the garden while here.

Fantastic mosaic floors. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. It's off a main shopping street, so browse on the way there and back. Close to the "mushroom", another place to visit, stunning views from the top.

Fantastic collection of Roman mosaics. Opus Tessellatum and Sextile presented in a iwonderful architecture. I did not visit the first floor as I was only there for the mosaics. Most of them are stunning. Well worth the visit.

The countess used to tear down walls and renovate just to accommodate mosaics she brought from archeological sites, so the ground floor is a fascinating hodgepodge. The guided tour of the second floor (the only way to get upstairs) is well worth it to see how the home was kept.

Liked Dueñas better, but this was also very much worth the visit. The guided tour could be longer and more detailed and there is always room for improvement in the guide's language abilities in English.

The medaillon with the Personification of Summer in the Main Patio is one of the most beautiful mosaic portraits I have seen from th Roman times. If you enjoy mosaics, it is worth going just for this one !
