The guide does not speak English. Everybody is very kind though.

Near the end of the exhibition there are interactive screens where you can zoom in on images of Sevilla and see more information about buildings and places as well as view some videos; we hadn't realised how to fully use this so a friendly member of staff showed us, but maybe it could use some written instructions alongside it. There are plenty of replicas of ships to appreciate. The exhibition would appeal to children as well as adults. Personally I loved the way a dramatised narrative was created around each of the objects exhibited.

In the first room there are objects which are brought to life with audio and animated stories. They are nestled within an ocean of fibre optic cables which create waves of light. All written information is presented in both Spanish and English and so are the audio dialogues. The level of written information presented was about right. With some exhibits you have to do things like pull a rope or put a coin into a hat (you get it back) to make the story begin, and this interaction with the exhibition was quite fun.

Actually quite abandoned, yet really beautiful with impressive architectural design.

It was really sad to see that we were the only people there during our visit, which lasted well over an hour and a half. Its location won't help as the area is off the beaten track (we had been for a general look around Expo 92 sites) and we were there in November so well out of season, but you can tell a lot of thought and creativity has gone into it and this exhibition certainly deserves to be included in your plans.

A good museum and you should definitely go up the tower that's next to it.
